Information about: Cala Murada

Cala Murada was originally a fishing village belonging to the municipality of Manacor and as time passed it became a residential village with summer holiday homes. It’s houses are colourful and the village is small and quiet. The beach boasts the blue flag and it is ideal for families with children as it is quite calm. Jut beside the beach is the Torrent des Fangar, a natural waterway born in the mountains that leads out to the sea being the home of a variety of birds such as ducks and geese. The Coe de la Cala Murada, can be found at the left of the bay and it was originally a house carved into the cliff during the bronze age.
