This is quite a modern urbanisation that takes up the plots of Ses Penyes Rotges that belong to the municipality of Calviá in Mallorca. Its name comes from some small islands amongst which can be found the island of El Toro. The local “fiestas” of this locality are from the 4th to the 5the of August and are celebrated jointly with Costa de la Calma. The main beach is known a Racó de Sa Fragata, or El Toro beach. Most of the houses that are built front line to the sea are on the cliffs with magnificent sea views. El Toro is very close to the Golf course of Santa Ponça II. El Toro holds one of the most up market marina’s on the Island, Port Adriano, designed by Philippe Starck in 2012. Port Adriano is one of the most modern ports in the Mediterranean and can accept yachts of all sizes. Port Adriano has a sandy beach that is kept immaculate and there is also a variety of restaurants and shops.
