Sencelles is a municipality that belongs to the Pla de Mallorca region and is located in the center of the island, delimited with other municipalities such as Consell, Santa Eugenia, Binissalem, Inca, Costitx, Lloret and Algaida. It is a town that has the singularity of being a town of villages, since it is formed by the population centers of Biniali, Ruberts, Jornets, Cascanar, Sonarrossa and Sencelles. Currently the small population centers are gaining strength by becoming second homes where the owners seek tranquility. New business models are also growing, such as agro-tourism aimed at a more mature public that appreciates the rural essence and peace of the interior of Mallorca.
